How selling online through Corrios Cash & Carry works

Long story short: you need to upgrade to a Verified Producer account on WholesaleSuppliers.FOOD. This will give you access to the Corrios Cash & Carry Network of platforms. Your products will be sold across the European Union, while listings on other markets such as the UK, USA, UAE, Qatar, Africa, India and more will appear as “Request an Offer” products. These act as a lead generator for exports, so you deal directly with the customer—sending the offer, invoicing, handling the paperwork, receiving payment, and arranging delivery yourself.

You’ll need to submit your price list in an Excel format, which we provide, and our team will list the products on your behalf. Prices must be EXW, without VAT, and must already include the 3.5% selling fee of the Cash & Carry Network. When you receive an order, the system automatically generates the invoice in your name so the customer can pay directly, and you get paid as soon as the order is placed. Each order is sent to you by email and includes the invoice, the purchase order, and the pallet labels.

All you need to do is prepare the goods, and a haulier from the Pallet Network will collect them from your factory and deliver them directly to the customer. It’s important to note that all prices must be EXW and exclusive of VAT, as the system calculates delivery costs and VAT rates automatically. That’s all—no rocket science, no more fussy buyers from purchasing departments to please, just you, your products, and a world of potential resellers.

Sign up as a VERIFIED supplier

Although you can sign up for FREE as a supplier on WholesaleSuppliers.FOOD, if you want your products to be listed across all the Corrios Cash & Carry platforms, you first need to be verified—and that comes at a cost. Check our prices and fees here. We offer two types of verified accounts: one for EU & UK suppliers and another for International suppliers.

COMPANY PROFILE PAGE
We take the security and safety of our customers very seriously. Therefore, a number of verifications are carried out, including but not limited to:

  • Checking your VAT status for both national and international sales
  • Verifying your EORI code status
  • Sending a PIN number by post to your registered address, which you must confirm back to us to help prevent identity theft
  • Verifying the identity of the business administrators where necessary
  • Requesting a virtual video tour if any doubts arise
  • Conducting a physical location visit in certain cases
  • Assessing financial ratings, insolvency risks, and other checks aimed at preventing fraud, which cannot be fully detailed online

Customers will be able to see your full profile, including the products you sell.

Send us your price list

There are several pricing methods available, which we will outline below. However, it is essential to note that you must always provide prices on an EXW basis only and excluding VAT.

EXW Prices
Prices must be provided on an EXW (Ex Works) basis because the system uses AI to optimise shipments. This includes consolidating parcels and pallets in real time, determining the most suitable type of vehicle, calculating the distance from your warehouse to the delivery address, and factoring in elements such as order preparation time, transit duration and costs, road restrictions, public holidays, your operating hours, and more.

No VAT Included
The applicable VAT rate is automatically calculated at checkout. The system is integrated with both VIES and HMRC via API, ensuring all checks are carried out in real time. It takes into account the VAT rate for each product category, the VAT registration status of both buyer and seller, whether the transaction is domestic or cross-border, and other relevant criteria.

Below, we provide an example of the main pricing methods for the same product:

PRICE PER BOX / CASE
If you want to sell mixed pallets, the system can consolidate them in real time. We can also set a minimum order quantity (MOQ) per SKU and per full case, as the “+” button only allows multiples of items per case to be added to the cart, for example 6, 12, 18, 24, and so on.

QUANTITY-BASED PRICING
Quantity-based pricing allows you to offer customers discounts depending on the number of items they wish to purchase. You can set thresholds, for example 1–10, 11–20, 21–30, or 1–100, 101–200, and so on. This encourages customers to buy larger quantities by providing them with clear incentives.

PRICE PER PALLET
Our system can handle any setup. While we recommend offering mixed pallets, if you prefer to sell full pallets only, we can configure it accordingly. A minimum order quantity (MOQ) is set per SKU—for example, 120 units—and quantities are rounded up per pallet, such as 120, 240, 360, and so on.

PRICE PER PALLET FRACTIONS
The delivery algorithms can also provide quotes for partial pallets, for example 1, 2, or 3 barrels. It’s entirely up to you whether you want to sell fractions or not. You can list a single barrel if you wish, or a full pallet with 4 barrels—or any other configuration you prefer.

MOQ: 1, RETAIL
To demonstrate how versatile the system is, we’ll use this bottle of oil as an example of a product with a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 1. However, please bear in mind that this would never be approved on our platforms, as they are wholesale-only. That said, if you wish to sell a product with an MOQ of 1—such as machinery, specialised tools, or similar items—it can be accommodated.

RPQ – Request Price Quotation
Some products cannot be sold directly online, and suppliers may require more details before providing an offer. For this reason, the system allows you to list products without a BUY NOW button, replacing it with a Request a Quote button instead. This directs the customer to a form where they can provide additional information about their request.

Invoicing and getting paid

Fully automated and integrated with the relevant institutions to ensure smooth business operations and transactions.

VIES integrated

Live VIES connection

Cash & Carry is fully integrated with VIES. Simply define a proforma invoice series and set up your VAT number on the platform. The VAT percentage is calculated automatically at checkout, and the invoice is generated automatically using your own business details.
European Central Bank

European Central Bank

Where necessary, the exchange rate is calculated based on rates from the European Central Bank, to which the platform is connected via API. The latest rates are fetched every hour.
Invoice Customers

Auto-invoicing

A sophisticated algorithm takes into account your location, your VAT status, the customer’s location, the customer’s VAT status, the category of goods purchased, and other relevant factors to automatically issue invoices in your name.

Payment on order

Customers are required to pay for products upfront at the time of order, using a card directly through the platform. We retain a 3.5% selling fee and the delivery fee, and the remainder is credited to your bank account for each order.

What you can sell

Thanks to the real time connection between Corrios Cash & Carry and Pallet Network, customers can see in real time at checkout the delivery cost for their order regardless of how many products they added in to the shopping cart, and the type of products. This allows you to sell almost anything through the platform without having to worry about the delivery itself of the products.

Frozen, Refrigerated, Chilled, General

Temperature controlled

You can sell any kind of products that require transport with temperature controlled vehicles like: frozen, refrigerated, chilled or ambiental.

ADR - Dangerous goods

Fertilizers, soil treatments, and other agricultural products can be sold safely through the platform.

Sell products with unusual sizes or shapes, including oddly shaped boxes, long items, or items that don’t fit standard pallets.
Hi-ab Crane Delivery

Crane delivery

Perfect for heavy or oversized items, such as large kitchen equipment, factory components, or other bulky machinery.

Products Collection & Delivery

Let AI take the pain out of offering delivery cost quotations and organising the delivery of your orders. Let’s face it, it would be almost impossible to calculate the delivery cost for every possible scenario and destination manually. That’s why Corrios Cash & Carry dynamically calculates delivery costs automatically in real time while the customer is at checkout.

Warehouse Location

Warehouse Location

To enable AI to optimise the delivery process, we will set up your warehouse details, including your address, road restrictions, opening hours, and the time needed to prepare an order (in addition to manufacturing time).
Prepare the pallets

Pallet Consolidation

If you allow customers to order mixed pallets, you should know that the system can consolidate them in real time.
AI Optimised Checkout

AI Logistics

Parcels and pallets are grouped by freight type and automatically optimised using advanced AI algorithms.
AWB Labels

Print the labels

Your order email will also include details on parcel or pallet optimisation, so you know how to arrange the products on a pallet and which labels to attach for a smooth delivery.
eFulfillment

Get ready for collection

Once you have finished picking the products and the pallets are ready for collection, simply mark the order as ready from your dashboard, and a haulier will come to collect the goods. You’ll receive a notification when a truck has been allocated for your order.

Logistics & Delivery

Warehouse settings
We will have to define the location of the products, For this we need the warehouse address, opening hours, any road restrictions around the warehouse and the time needed to prepare an order (once the products are manufactured).
Parcels & Pallets optimisation
The system calculates delivery costs automatically based on several criteria, including the volume and weight of your products. To achieve this, the system performs real-time parcel optimisation and pallet consolidation. When you receive an order, you will also receive:
  • Labels for the parcels/pallets
  • The resulting optimisation plan
You must place the products on the pallets according to the optimisation, as this was used to determine the transport cost. For products requiring temperature-controlled transport, the system will not mix items with different temperature requirements—for example, frozen products will not be placed with chilled products.
Delivery cost
Delivery cost is calculated automatically using complex AI algorithms. Your product price list must be supplied EXW only, with no delivery fees included in the product price.

The system:
  • Optimises parcels and pallets
  • Consolidates pallets in real time
  • Calculates delivery costs based on the loading and unloading addresses
  • Considers the products ordered and the required type of vehicle
  • Accounts for other relevant criteria
Who pays for the delivery?
The customer pays for the delivery when placing the order. On your invoice, you will see the product value (including the 3.5% sale commission) and the delivery cost, both of which have already been paid by the customer and will be deducted from your payout.
Pallet Network
Corrios Cash & Carry uses the Pallet Network for deliveries. All haulage companies are verified before being granted access to the network, ensuring that they are vetted properly before being allowed to transport any goods for the Corrios group of platforms.
Are the products insured in transit?
Yes! All hauliers have valid in-transit freight insurance.
Missing products
When handing the products to the driver, you must ensure that the appropriate paperwork is signed to confirm the type of products and quantities. This will absolve you of any responsibility regarding the quantity, as long as it is possible to count the products.
Damaged products
You must ensure that products are packed correctly for long journeys and securely fastened in the vehicle. It is your responsibility to make sure that the packaging is done properly so that products travel in good condition. Any products damaged during transport due to accidents or other reasons will be covered by the haulier’s insurance.

Returns & Product Guarantee

Do I have to accept returns?
Although rare, in most cases, yes—you have to accept returns. If a customer is not satisfied with the quality of the products you provided, they have the right to request a return within 3 working days from delivery, plus any additional transit time. You must issue a full refund (including the 3.5% selling fee) within 3 working days of receiving the returned products.
As long as the products are in the same condition as when they were loaded, the customer may request a return and refund. Refunds must be processed within 72 hours of receiving the goods back at your warehouse.
It is the customer’s responsibility to cover the transport cost back to your warehouse.
Product guarantee
As a manufacturer, it is your responsibility to offer a product guarantee, which must be clearly mentioned in the product description.
Shelf life
You must ensure that only fresh products are dispatched with the best possible shelf life. Do not send products that are close to their expiry date, as this may result in your account being blocked and your company being permanently banned from using any of the Corrios platforms.

Lead Generators listings

Your products will also be listed on all the platforms listed below. However, unlike the platforms in the European Union, these listings are for price quotation requests only.

Customers cannot place orders online directly, but they can request a quotation. You will be in direct contact with all potential buyers and can discuss all aspects of the order, including quantities, payment, and delivery terms and methods.
